Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is Government funding that is based on the number of pupils who have been eligible to receive free school meals (FSM) during the past 6 years, and pupils who are currently eligible. The purpose of the funding is to target support for individuals and groups of pupils.
Therefore, it is very important that if you feel that your child may be eligible for FSM, you speak to the school office about how to apply.
Schools are required to publish details of their Pupil Premium allocation, how they plan to spend the allocation in the current year, how the previous year’s allocation was spent and the impact of the expenditure on the attainment of those pupils for whom the funding was allocated.
